Sometimes when I move to a new place, I'm randomly transported somewhere else.

Do you have a screenshot by any chance of the location? Def wanna make sure it’s fixed!

Got really addicted last night, but I've got some bugs I found and (hopefully) constructive feedback!

  • Going into the "dungeon" takes you to the top portion of the map, and in my experience both northern X rooms (east and west beyond the passport) took me to the same dungeon?
  • Once in the dungeon area I couldn't leave again (is this intentional?)
  • If you get into a battle in the first room of the dungeon (with the 2 pillars) you end up in the room next to the dungeon shop after combat
  • I haven't found the purpose of defending yet, as the combat is tit-for-tat defending serves no function (do later enemies have some kind of multi attack?)
  • I think some enemies should yield more than 1 gold. I stocked up on items *right* before getting to the passport dealer, and then had to grind out 15 gold one at a time -- since it uses ALL your gold at the time, it isn't reasonable to be eating any food when grinding (you won't be able to refill stock), so you need to do a very long awkward dance resting and fighting without eating anything or healing.
  • The game segfaulted after the boss in the dungeon, I'll post a screen grab of the error for you later!

Really pretty game tho, and feedback aside I was having a lot of fun playing it and trying to figure out how to proceed! Looking forward to eventually getting past the first boss~

thank you so much for the constructive feedback! It’s super helpful! Will def look into the issues you brought up and hopefully have a fix asap! As for defending, it comes in later when some of the monsters have special attack patterns that hit hard, once you figure out those patterns you’ll know when to block at the right time saving you a lot of health!

Sorry this took so long! Here's the kernel panic image I got (if it helps at all)

Release Version: Sometimes the direction arrow sprites have the wrong background for a split second if you push the direction.

That's a very minor bug and may be a quirk to leave in the game if it simplyfies scene transitions.

thank you for the heads up! If possible to send me what scenes it’s happening in I would love to address it!
