Osteoma: a Deckulus intro deck
A downloadable game

Osteoma is a print and play intro version to the Deckulus solo dungeon crawl card game. It's a simplified version that allows you to understand the basics and set off on an adventure using the Deckulus game system.
The Base version of Dekculus, as well as any other expansions can be purchased Here!

Osteoma takes you into the dark procession of the Dark Ichor Saint. It is said that the truly pure ones that sacrifice enough to make it to his alter will receive a taste of his holy ichor and heal any ailments. You find yourself at deaths door, your body slowly failing you, and options have run out.
You trust in the ancient whispers of the elders and make your way inside of the labyrinth. Only to find out that it was all a lie, the halls filled with other partitioners driven to insanity, and ancient knights purging all life within the halls of the dungeon.
Realizing your folly, you try your best to race back for the doorway to freedom, realizing your slow death is a better option than what lays beyond.
Everything you have been told is a lie. But do you have what it takes to battle your way back, and try and witness the sunrise one last time, before the denizens of the dungeon get to you.

I wanted to create something that is even easier to pick up and play, and hopefully give a step into the bigger world of the Deckulus games. The base deck that can be purchased now in physical form contains even more complexity, from items, to massive boss cards. The intent is to eventually grow the game into something that can be fully customizable by the player and allow for creativity in constructing Dungeon decks.
Stylistically, this was an opportunity to try something different than the base game and have some fun with the design, allowing Osteoma to stand on its own as a game.

The download presents a .pdf of the deck, as well as pngs with bleed settings that can very quickly be uploaded to MakePlayingCards and print on demand. If you have any questions, feel free to leave a comment!

Hi "Osteoma is a print and play intro version to the Deckulus solo dungeon crawl card game."
where can I find deckulus game to buy?
I’m super bummed that I missed the kickstarters. I only saw the posts on FB too late. Hopefully it goes on sale here and I’d be more than happy to pay for a pnp even if it’s close to the price of a physical deck (just a +1 to the pnp comment). I’ll definitely pick this version up to play with when i get home. Will you be putting the physical games (base and expansion) up anytime soon?
Hi there! Yes I will share a link to late pledges when pledge manager is going to go up. Still weighing in pnp. That’s def gonna be after fulfillment if it happens
Just picked up the intro game. Love the art. I'll be crafting it shortly. I'm not sure if it's helpful but i turned it into pdf with 6 cards to a page and backs for easier printing duplex (with cutlines). happy to give that over to you if you want, it's better than trying to print 36 individual pages and matching backs.
Game question: (I've not assembled it yet but read thru the rules and cards) I don't see which card is the "boss" card I see the exit card. is the goal in the intro to just get thru to the exit? Is one of the monsters suppose to be the boss? If so which one? Can't wait to try it and also buy the full game!
I noticed the Divine Intervention card has the same rules text as the Release the Prisoners card. I'm assuming that's a bug?
Bloodletting Ritual and Feral Ambush use the same artwork, and Blacksmith is clearly a drummer
I made a health tracking card for this, less fiddly than finding a number on a die. This is the sort of thing that might be good for Deckulus
great work here! Yes will make a printable sheet tracker similar to this for Deckulus :)
A kickstarter bug is blocking me from commenting on the Relic Hunter campaign.
You should update the page here https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/455112/traumatarium-deckulus and add the expansion for it.
They have a crowdfunding countdown on the home page, but i'm not sure how you get onto it, might get some visibility.
Your kickstarter page isn't showing much of the art, which is a big selling point for the game! Your last campaign had a pic showing the artists with a card each, it was more visual. Relic Hunter is a bit 'flat' with lots of text on a white background and isn't as good as a showcase.
(hopefully this comes across as constructive and not just negative, I want the game!)
Hey there! Super helpful and totally appreciated! All this makes sense, and will be updating the campaign! I’m not super familiar with board game geek but need to make an account and figure out how to get the info there. I do think the countdown stuff may be for paying campaigns only but will look into it. Again, appreciate the constructive feedback!!
So there are 36 cards, 63.5x88.9mm and 2mm radius corners.
Follow the Deckulus rules for monster and dungeon cards, starting with 20 health (which is the only thing you need to track), but there are no items and you win by escaping.
Small note, page 28 In the shadows has a tiny misplaced black cube over the word horrible.
you are correct! And thank you for catching that will need to fix :)
Would you consider releasing a print and play version of the full game (and expansion)? Shipping to the EU is pricey and you're out of stock too
It’s something I’m considering. Currently just working hard on the expansion Kickstarter. I think one big fear is piracy :(
Following the kickstarter already! I'd have thought it less appealing as something to pirate than a game rom since there's a crafting element for the player, but it's a fair concern.
I will definitely consider it post Kickstarter. I totally understand the exorbitant costs of postage. Took a hit myself on every package that went outside of the U.S. on the first Kickstarter. It’s really unfortunate how expensive it all is :(
